Sanatana Resources Receives Positive Channel Sampling Results from Watershed Property

Sanatana Resources has obtained encouraging gold results from the channel sampling program conducted at the Watershed property. Surface Contract Drilling has been engaged to begin the drill program at the property at the earliest. Under the joint venture and option agreement with Augen Gold, this Watershed property is optioned and Sanatana has a choice to purchase up to 51% interest in this property.

The primary target of the planned 2,500 m drilling campaign will be on coincident surface geochemistry and induced polarization (IP) anomalies, situated at the mineral claim # 3011820 of the Clam Lake.

The company has begun a channel sampling and trenching campaign at the mineral claim # 3011820 of the Clam Lake, depending on the grab sample results. Five trenches crossing two individual IP anomalies were completed. Trenches 1, 2, 3 and 5 have cut across the IP anomaly in the claim’s northeast part at 50 m spacing, wherein trench 4 cuts the IP anomaly in the claim’s southwest portion. Currently, the company has completed the channel sampling program at the five trenches and has obtained the results of three trenches. It is waiting for the results of trenches 3 and 4. Trenches 1, 2 and 5 have yielded considerable values of gold, which signifies the gold mineralization continuity of 100 m along the strike. Sanatana has obtained the results of 267 samples, gathered through channeling over 230.5 m. It has encountered over 0.3 g/t gold in 30 samples and more than 1 g/t gold in 13 samples.

Sanatana is elated by the results of this channel sampling and trenching program, which are concurrent with the subsurface apparent resistivity anomalies. Drilling will include around five holes, totaling 500 m, over three segments that are spaced 100 m separately from examining the two tactful IP anomalies. The company is continuing sampling and trenching somewhere at the property, which targets identical IP or resistivity anomalies. Future drilling program will examine encouraging results of this work.
