Mineral Mountain Resources Releases Gold Assays from Straw Lake Project

Mineral Mountain Resources has released the gold assay results from its current exploratory drill program conducted at the Straw Lake project’s Pine Centre region, which is located around 50 km to the northern part of Fort Frances, northwest Ontario.

The company has obtained the drilling results of further 15 holes from the current phase I program at the Pine Centre region of its Straw Lake project. Ten holes, PC11-026 - PC11-035, targeted the main zone of the Pine Center area. The remaining five holes from PC11-036 to PC11-041 have been inferred as having tested a parallel formation. The preliminary drilling phase was planned to validate mineralization drilled previously and to examine the northeast strike expansions of the mineralized gold present in the PCAZ. The company intersected 1.65 g/t gold over 13.20 m in hole PC-11-026, 1.57 g/t gold over 14.00 m in the hole PC-11-032 and 1.96 g/t gold over 12.00 m in hole PC-11-033.

The tabular PCAZ is a shallowly plunging shear zone present in granodioritic rocks and directly looks like the mineralization featured in the Osisko Mining’s Hammond Reef gold deposit.

This PCAZ zone is one of the prominent mineralized regions situated in the significant land package of the company. The target of the present drill program is to examine many regional targets for finding the size of this mineralized system.
