Sierra Gold Announces October and November 2011 Gold Recovery Results

Sierra Gold Corporation has announced October and November 2011 gold recovery results. The company recovered 59 ounces from its support operations bringing its year to date gold recovery to 378 ounces.

Additionally, Sierra Gold Corp. has received the dredging permit for its Pampana River operations and has launched the first dredge. Despite high river levels and rapid currents, initial shake down operations along the shoreline have produced both gold and significant black sands.

The company is looking forward to moving to the specific target areas for enhanced recovery operations as soon as river conditions allow. We anticipate that the second dredge will be on site and operational by mid December.
