Reliance Resources Announces Gold Assay Results from Tanoyan Project

Reliance Resources has reported results of two holes drilled into the Sondana Vein system, located at the Tanoyan Gold project in Indonesia. The company has recently begun drilling of the proposed 10,000 Phase II campaign.

Sondana Vein Drill Section - TND089

The Tanoyan Gold project includes a wide auriferous quartz vein system, which contains four major vein systems namely Modupola or Talong, Lingkobungon, Ramai and Sondana.

The orientation of these veins is mainly towards the northeastern part and they dip moderately or sharply towards the southeast or northwest. The veins are present in andesitic volcanic rocks and have been outlined over a combined strike of around 6 km length.

The goal of the phase II program is to significantly upgrade the previous NI 43-101 resource by focusing on the expansions to veins’ drilled sections. The company has initially targeted this drill program on the Modupola and Sondana veins.

The company has obtained assays from the initial two drill holes, including 4.4 g/t gold over 5.3 m in hole TND 089. The hole TND 088 was specifically drilled in the Tanoyan system’s southern parts and cut two quartz vein zones that include mineralized gold over narrow thickness.

The resource model at the Modupola and Sondana veins is exposed at depth and along strike towards the Sondana vein’s northern parts, where the company locates important drill intersections from the phase I drill program. The phase II campaign is specifically designed to expand mineralization laterally and along strike with additional drilling. The infill drill program may validate the vein system continuity and thus the mineral resource classification is enhanced.
