Romarco Minerals (the company) is a gold development company focused on production primarily in the US.
The company reports drilling results of the ongoing 2011 exploration at Haile Gold Mine project in South Carolina. The results show the constant development and continuity of the mineralized system at Haile.
Drilling between South Pit and Ledbetter continues to detect gold mineralization. The hole RCT-49 cuts 17.3 g/t gold over 31.8 meter, including a high-grade intercept of 66.9 g/t gold over 7.6 meters. There are numerous additional gaps of mineralization within RCT-49. The hole DDH-384 is drilled to the northeast identifying mineralization within 33 meters of DDH-351 and extending to within 65 meters of RCT-33 and RC-1771.
The hole DDH-384 finds multiple zones of mineralization including 1.5 g/t gold over 99.6 meters and 4.5 g/t gold over 69.8 meters. Drilling between Ledbetter and South Pit continues to describe significant mineralization beyond the current reserve pit boundaries and represents further continuity between these zones. Additional drilling is planned to carry on after defining the shape and level of this mineralization.
In the western portion of South Pit, DDH-350 encounters 2.6 g/t gold over 39.2 meters, including a high-grade intercept of 4.3 g/t gold over 17.7 meter. This DDH-350 hole is present within the higher-grade area of South Pit named Mill Zone.
