Argentex Mining has announced further exploration results from the Pinguino project in Santa Cruz, Argentina. The company has intersected 470.0 g/t silver, 1.64 g/t gold over 8.0 meters and 121.9 g/t silver, 2.77 g/t gold over 7.0 meters at Marta Centro.
Now, the company has planned to include around 17,000 meters of drilling and 12,000 meters of trenching in the exploration campaign at Pinguino. So far, Argentex has finished diamond drilling of 26 holes totaling 4,851 meters and RC drilling of 162 holes totaling 11,195 meters.
The company is very much encouraged by the intersection of large silver mineralization and high-grade gold values from the latest drilling. The potential growth of the project is continued by the silver and gold grades received constantly. Presently, the technical team is evaluating the drill program to extend these zones additionally along strike and to depth.
Argentex has planned the drilling to extend the silver target areas from the reconnaissance 2010 program and analyze new targets.
