Cabo Drilling has secured a 6,000+ m drilling contract from the Puddle Pond Resources to drill at the Molypeak and Horn-Mesher projects at Lloyd's Lake, which is located in south-central Newfoundland.
The company has moved a C20 drilling rig to the project. It has planned to drill NQ size drill core at approximately 6,000 to 7,000 m, totaling up to 30 drill locations. These drill sites will examine the molybdenum mineralized zone, which is the MolyPeak project, after the successful drilling at the recently identified porphyry styled molybdenum mineralization, hosting the quartz vein, during last fall. Besides the MolyPeak project, the company has also targeted to drill at the Lundberg Grid Copper Mesher project, along with the gold mineralization that is occurring in volcanic rocks and the Buchans Type mineralization hosting quartz layers. This Buchans Type mineralization has high-grade gold, copper, silver, lead and zinc, which exists in the outcrops of the quartz veins in the Horn project.
Cabo provides drilling services to mid-tier, main, and junior exploration and mining firms and offers project expertise ranging from early-phase reconnaissance drill program to advanced phase mining and resource explanation.
