Teras Resources has received additional assays from the reverse circulation (RC) drilling program performed at the Cahuilla project in California. This project has a huge epithermal and paleo-springs silver and gold system and hosts several high-grade mineralized veins that exist in a wide disseminated mineralized body containing silver and gold.
The company performed the latest drill program at around 250 m towards the southwestern part of the prominent gold mineralized body in a relatively sparse drill covering area. The holes CAH-139 and CAH-142 previously returned high-grade gold and silver mineralization, respectively. There will be significant increase in the number of holes that are drilled in this region, as more concentration is needed for this potential area.
Mineralized gold and silver is entirely exposed towards the east, north and south, and at depth, with respect to the drill holes CAH-142. CAH-139 is exposed at the depth and towards the west, north and south, and the hole is located around 160 m to the western part of the hole CAH-142. The previous drilling results have shown the occurrence of long low-grade mineralized gold intercepts.
Nevada-based Inspectorate Laboratory has assayed the RC samples. Mr. Paul Stubble, consulting project geologist gathered the drill samples and sent to the laboratory for analysis.
The drilling program has the initial goal of extending the prominent silver and gold mineralization outlined by past drill program and look for further high-grade mineralized veins.
