Victory Resources has commenced a systematic drill program in order to find the possible values of grade and size of the Altamira and Matanza historic Reforma tailings deposit, which is situated adjacent to the Reforma’s previous mine site.
A surveyed grid of 20 x 20 m has been included in this drilling program, which also has planned for 93 holes, with an average depth of 15 m. The company is expecting to complete this 1400 m drilling campaign in approximately 30 days.
After completion of the drill program, the company will send a representation bulk sample to a laboratory for finding the metallurgical and mineralogical studies for recovery values, after a feasibility study of material re-processing.
According to Wally Boguski, Victory’s CEO and President, the company is delighted to start the confirmatory drilling at the tailings pond, based on the primary results from the pond. The capacity of a viable resource present in the tailings pond will be a significant milestone in the Reforma mine site development, he stated.
The Reforma property is the main focus of the company and is situated at the common border of Chihuahua and Sinaloa States in west-central Mexico. An exploration work has been commenced by the company at the Au-Wen property, located in Canada. This property is situated 30 km towards the southeastern part of Merritt and lies 8 km towards the Aspen Grove mining camp’s eastern portion in south-central BC of Canada. It has 91 mineral claims that enclose 34,200 ha of area.
