The Bettersizer 2600 uses Laser Diffraction Technology to measure particles with sizes ranging from 0.02 to 2,600 μm. There are 92 photoelectric detectors that convert light signals from the scattering spectrum to electrical signals, which are then sent to intelligent software. The accurate and reliable particle size distribution can be obtained by applying the Mie scattering theory to the data and performing mathematical conversions.
The Bettersizer 2600's modular design makes it versatile. The dynamic imaging module combines laser and imaging tests, extending the measurement range to 3,500 μm and analyzing particle size and shape. The various dispersion system modules cater to a wide range of testing requirements, including both dry and wet dispersion methods.
