Savant Explorations Begins 1,400m Drilling Program at Parbec Project

Savant Explorations has commenced a 1,400 m drilling program at the Globex Mining Enterprises’ Parbec project to examine the continuity and extent of the shallow near surface gold mineralization, which was identified in a drill program conducted last year.

The company will focus on drill holes Par-10-08 and Par-10-05 in this program and these holes have cut 1.37 g/t gold over 28.6 m and 1.82 g/t gold over 38.9 m. Savant will report the drilling results of 2011 when all the results have been compiled and received.

The location of this Parbec Project is along the Cadillac Break that is 5 km west and along the strike of the historic Malartic Gold site and 20 km southeast of the Cadillac Gold site, where Osisko Mining is exploring a huge open pit mine presently operating at the Canadian Malartic property.

Savant is capable of buying the Parbec Property by signing a four-year option agreement with Globex Mining Enterprises.
