Atna Resources Reports Positive Drilling Results from Deep Briggs

Atna Resources has announced encouraging drill results from the Deep Briggs mineral resource region of the Briggs Mine in California.

The company has intercepted 3.23 g/t gold over 13.7 m including 1.97 g/t gold over 30.5 m in BMD11-064, which extends the region further east of the current resource. It also cuts 1.42 g/t gold over 18.3 m in BMD11-062 that widens the zone to the north and 0.82 g/t gold over 74.7 m including 1.26 g/t gold over 22.9 m in BMD11-066, which is in the wide spaced hole area in the Deep Briggs resource.

The CEO and President of Atna, James Hesketh has stated that the company has received fine intercepts from Deep Briggs. The company’s exploration has defined high-grade region that is located inside and outside the existing resources, with a width of 75 to 100 m, thickness of 20 m to more than 60 m and length of 200 m. This mineralized zone is open and expands to a significant gold mineralization greater than the reserve grade of the mine.

The nearby latest drill holes widen and infill the mineralized zones. Atna is continuing the drilling and has planned to fill the extensive drilling areas and lengthen the zone mineralization along the trend.
