Adventure Gold has commenced a Phase II drilling program at its Pascalis-Colombiere gold property. This property is situated on the eastern side of the Val-d'Or mining camp in Quebec.
This recent program will include drilling of around 5,000 m totaling at least 12 holes to outline the new gold mineralization, which was discovered recently at the deep mine expansions and at the west of the previous L.C. Beliveau Mine. The company will deepen at least four holes, PC-11-15, 17, 19 and 20, to examine the depth of the mine. However, it will execute majority of the drilling between the surface and at a depth of 350 m at the Beliveau West Area (BWA). Adventure is anticipating to finish the drilling in the months of June and July.
Marco Gagnon, CEO and President of the company, has commented that this drilling will additionally outline the Beliveau gold system that paves the way for its economic potential and resource estimation.
Adventure is considering that there is a strong likelihood of enhancing the gold resource, which was discovered by Cambior at the L.C. Beliveau Mine preceding 1993. When the company finishes the Phase II drilling campaign, it will complete and release the technical report of the 43-101 resource estimation. SGS Geostat in Quebec has begun the NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate and report, including the latest Phase II drilling results.
