Argentex Mining Reports Additional Drilling Results from Pinguino Project

Argentex Mining has announced further exploration results from its Pinguino project in Argentina. This exploration campaign has included drilling of 206 holes, totaling 19,704 m. The analytical results have been obtained from the 14,951 m drill program in 168 holes and the company has around 18 % of drill holes that are left over for processing.

The location of all these drill holes is at the Marta Este vein, which is in the huge Marta Vein system.

Argentex’s President has stated that the high-grade gold and silver core amalgamation present in a huge mineralized interval has proposed the occurrence of an extremely strong mineralization near or at the surface. The Marta Centro layers, the Marta Noroeste and the Marta Este-Marta Oeste are included in the Marta vein system, which shows +3,000 m of a long mineralized strike. In order to improve the future resource update, these shallow high-grade discoveries of gold and silver at Pinguino are significant.

The location of the Pinguino project is in Santa Cruz province’s Deseado Massif in Argentina. The high-grade precious metal that has been freshly discovered in the newly tested formations at the project demonstrates the expansion potential of a large gold-silver resource.

Argentex has completed the drilling program for more than 56,000 m, exceeding 500 holes, at 19 vein layers. It has discovered over 50 separate vein sections that includes a strike length of over 75 line-km.
