Pure Energy Begins Seismic Reflection Survey of Clayton Valley Lithium Brine Prospects

Pure Energy Minerals Limited is pleased to provide the following exploration update. The Company's operator, GeoXplor Corp. has begun a seismic reflection survey of the Company's Clayton Valley, Nevada lithium brine prospects.

GeoXplor Corp. has contracted Hasbrouck Geophysics and Bird Seismic Services to complete and interpret a high-resolution quasi-3D seismic reflection survey of the basin that extends 15 km south from the Company's existing CV-1 drill hole. This basin has been previously identified in a 2009 gravity survey conducted by Hasbrouck Geophysics, and shows a deep gravity-low that has been interpreted to represent a fault-controlled basin infilled with clastic deposits. Elsewhere in the Clayton Valley area these basin infill deposits are known to host lithium-bearing brines. The new seismic reflection survey is intended to better define the shape and boundaries of the infilled basin, and identify any structures and certain formations that are present within the infill sediments. It is expected that the seismic fieldwork will take approximately two weeks to complete, and that processed and interpreted data should become available within 3 to 4 weeks after that.

The interpreted results from the seismic reflection study will be combined with information gathered from the ongoing phase of exploration drilling work to show the lateral extent of possible lithium brine-bearing horizons and help locate future drilling targets throughout Pure Energy's claim area and support the development work underway towards producing a 43-101 inferred resource estimate.

Robert Mintak, Pure Energy CEO, commented, "We expect to considerably improve our understanding of the Clayton Valley prospect with this work program, this dataset will add significantly to our ability to model the hydrogeology and geochemistry at the project."
