DIOS EXPLORATION team is very pleased to report Hole AA and Hole AAA in section west of HEBERTO discovery Hole A (2.13 grams gold/tonne over 22.9 m true width incl. 4.79 g/t Au /8.65 m). Hole AA hit at depth HEBERTO potassic altered structure with 2 grams gold per tonne over 22 m (65 m to 87 m) as 1-4% disseminated pyrite (magnetite) at the tonalite-diorite contact, including 2.71 g/t gold/ 8 m plus 4 g/t gold/ 3 m. Hole AA hits the gold structure 72 meters deeper down dip than Hole A, which hit HEBERTO structure some 20 m from surface, 11 m north of Hole AA.
Further east in Hole AA, another similar potassic altered structure was intercepted in the diorite body between 173.25 m and 188 m grading 0.75 grams gold/tonne/ 14.75 m including 2.864 g/t gold/ 3.00 m, adjacent to an altered breccia zone hosting traces-2% pyrite (185.85-188.56 m). A minor silicified & biotitized zone assays 1.265 g/t gold / 0.75 m (215.50-215.25 m). Further west of HEBERTO structure in Hole AA occurs upper a plurimetric potassic (silica-biotite-microcline) altered zone with 1-4% pyrite (traces chalcopyrite) in tonalite that yields 0.65 g/t Au/ 7.00 m (22.25-29.25 m) including 1.115 g/t Au/ 1.0 m, 1.515 g/t Au / 0.90 m and 1.91 g/t Au / 0.50 m.
Hole AAA, drilled west of holes AA and A, cuts through the two potassic hydrothermal structures with traces to 2% pyrite (magnetite; traces chalcopyrite) but in the tonalite first between 77.25-95.70 m (95 m deeper along dip than Hole AA) returning a preliminary result of 1.63 g/t gold over 18.45 m, including 2.47 grams gold per tonne over 10.00 m and 1.17 g/t gold / 4.55 m) plus a 3.9 m section not yet sampled and the second potassic zone from 148.18 to 167.35 m (0.14 g/t gold over 19.25 m). A silicified & biotitized tonalitic zone with 2-4% pyrite assays 1.68 g/t Au /1.35 m (112.75 m-114.1m). The tonalite-diorite contact is located at 247.05 m and a metric potassic altered dioritic shear also assays 0.53 g/t Au/ 3.5 m (272.75 m-276.25 m).
The significance of HEBERTO drilling discovery and the grade and width of the main 20-22m wide gold mineralized structure is a major step stone for the positive development of DIOS. Core sample results from another drill section located 135-140 m south of HEBERTO GOLD are pending and will be released as soon as available. Core logging also shows several plurimetric HEBERTO STYLE intercepts.
Core logging and sampling, with usual industry standard quality controls such as blank inserts and duplicata was supervised by Harold Desbiens, M.Sc. Geo, 43-101 Qualified Person and V.P. of DIOS. Core samples are 1 m long usually and were assayed by Fire Assay Fusion with Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy finish at ALS Minerals in Val d'Or.
