Canadian Metals Announces Commencement of Drilling Campaign at Langis Silica Project

Canadian Metals Inc. is pleased to announce the start in June of a drilling campaign to update the mineral resource of its Langis Silica Project.

The campaign of 600 meters will include validation drilling of the high-grade zones and of the extensions of certain mineralized zones, for eventual open pit mining.

The campaign and the mineral resource update, to be completed under the supervision of the firm GoldMinds Geoservices Inc., is the first step towards the establishment of a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) on the Langis Project. The Inferred Mineral Resources, as defined by the National Instrument 43-101 (see October 4, 2016 Press Release), 9.95 million tonnes of in-pit resources, with average, SiO2 98.71%, Al2O3 0.38%, TiO2 0.05%, Fe2O3 0.12%.

Canadian Metals expects the drilling to be completed in June and the assessment to be completed at the end of August 2017.
