Black Tusk Resources Inc. takes pleasure in announcing that it has currently started the preparation of drill pad access for diamond drilling on its Golden Valley Project.

An excavator fitted with a wood chipping device will be shipped to the site to clear woody areas and level access and drill pads. In total, 15 sites have been chosen for preparation, with the mobilization of drilling at the first site later this month.

The access and drill pad setup will enable testing of the gold-bearing structures as summarized by historic past exploration (Targets I and II, see a press release dated March 27th, 2019). These structures contain prospective multi-element iron formation mineralization and probable shear-hosted gold mineralization as logged during the historic drill programs.

The Golden Valley Project is situated 26 km south of Hecla Mining Corp’s Casa Berardi Mine, which is right now in production and is situated within the Abitibi Greenstone belt that is host to many top class mineral deposits. The present major road utilized for mining and logging provides easy access to the Golden Valley Project. It is also the principal access road to the Casa Berardi Mine.

We are extremely excited to mobilize our team and equipment for this summer’s exploration program and can’t wait to see the drills turning at the Golden Valley Project.
