With the help of its Merrill Crowe gold recovery system, Mexus Gold US recovered gold from its initial heap leach pad. It is believed that the remaining precipitate smelting will take five days.

This is a monumental moment for Mexus. It has taken years with many ups and downs but through hard work and the dedication of our staff we’ve been able to meet this long sought-after goal. Mexus looks forward to building out the Santa Elena mine.

For the 2nd lift on heap leach pad #1, Mexus Gold US continues to mine and crush ore. It expects to stay ahead of mining new ore for the pad, enabling continuous leaching and gold recovery.
