Bison Gold Resources to Begin 5,000 Metre Drilling at Central Manitoba Property

Bison Gold Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BGE) has announced that a drill has been mobilized to the Central Manitoba Property to undertake a minimum 5,000 metre drilling program.

The initial 5,000 metres of diamond drilling will test the depth and strike extensions to the high grade discoveries made from the 2009 drill program on the Ogama-Rockland zone (see July 7, 2010 and August 17, 2010 press releases). In particular, step-out drilling below and along strike from drill hole OG-09-07, which intersected 34.99 g/t Au over a drill core width of 4.73 metres; OG-09-01 which intersected 36.54 g/t Au over a drill core width of 1.92 metres and OG-09-02 which intersected two gold-mineralized structures of 26.48- and 25.17 g/t Au over drill core widths of 1.25- and 0.99 metres, respectively.

"Positive results from this phase of drilling will lay the framework for an initial resource estimate on the Ogama-Rockland Zone," stated Lucas Ewart, President and CEO for Bison Gold.

All exploration activities for Bison Gold are under the supervision and guidance of David C. Benson, P.Geo, and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Mr. Benson has reviewed the technical portions of this news release.
