The world leader in the distribution and sales of graphite products, GES Europe GmbH, has engaged in a purchase and distribution arrangement with Ceylon Graphite Corp.
Ceylon’s graphite has uniquely high natural carbon characteristics that exceed those of any other natural graphite suppliers we have seen. The extremely high graphite grade, low environmental footprint and superior performance characteristics are tremendously beneficial to our customers. Our clients cover the range from battery manufacturers to construction materials and defence industry applications. We are excited to supply Ceylon Graphite to the global market and to collaborate on a range of opportunities.
Benjamin Sarkozy, Chief Executive Officer, GES Europe GmbH
GES anticipates that a variety of products utilizing Ceylon graphite will be available, such as thermally purified 99 % C grade and 95 %+ C direct ship graphite. In addition to contract negotiation, market research, market entry plan formulation, and client outreach are all provided by GES.
For a first year of 12 months, the distribution agreement offers GES assured supply and preferred pricing FOB Colombo, subject to specific volume requirements being met. While Ceylon is granted a limited amount of distribution exclusivity inside Europe, it is not prohibited from entering into any other direct sales or arrangements.
We are pleased to be working with GES and their sector leading management team. We have never seen this much demand for our high-carbon, low-environmental footprint natural vein graphite. Demand for non-Chinese supply is at a historic high following the announcement by China curtailing government exports and President Biden’s recent announcement introducing a 25% tariff increase on Chinese graphite.
Sasha Jacob, Chief Executive Officer, Ceylon Graphite Corp.
