Pacific Iron Ore announces the beginning of the drilling program at Bugaboo Creek project. Wardrop Engineering finds eleven key sites for drilling through its latest engineering study and should cost around $500,000 to complete drilling.
The exploration efforts will keep on focusing the massive magnetite skarns found in the Bugaboo Creek area close to Port Renfrew, B.C.
In January 2011, Pacific Iron Ore has announced inferred resource of 14.3 million tons, having magnetite of about 60%.
Wardrop Engineering of Vancouver completed an updated resource estimate for the Bugaboo Creek deposits in January 2011. This estimate included drilling results from both 2010 and from 2009.
The Bugaboo Creek deposits are explored and expanded with the aim of exporting iron concentrate to the global steel industry.
Pacific Iron Ore is committed to the growth of its strategic mineral deposits, situated in the Port Renfrew area of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, as well as, in the Kenora area of Ontario.
