Romarco Minerals is a gold development company focused on production primarily in the US. The Company completes a positive Feasibility study and continues exploration drilling and permitting for its flagship project, the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina.
Romarco provides an update on its land position. At present, the company has around 9,000 acres of private, fee simple land and controls roughly 460 acres of leased mineral claims.
The feasibility study reports Romarco's property position including all the land required for the planned mining. The reserve pits in the study covers less than 10% of the current Haile land position. More than 5,200 acres are adjacent land packages. The present Haile land package broadens between 1 and 2 kilometers beyond the currently planned reserve pits, along the mineralized trend. These regions cover highly potential ground for exploration adjoining the main Haile deposit and focuses on Romarco's 2011 exploration program.
Connors Drilling and Boart Longyear perform drilling at Romarco's property using Romarco's drills. Alfred H. Knight Group prepares and assays the drill samples at their facilities in Spartanburg and Fairbanks. The control sample results are within suitable ranges.
