RX Exploration has announced encouraging gold and silver intersections from the ongoing 70,000 ft underground diamond drilling program at Drumlummon Mine, Montana.
The drill hole, 11-291 intersects 0.673 opt gold over 28 feet and 4.22 opt silver from 104 to 132 feet. This drilling also includes 1.072 opt gold over 14 feet and 5.69 opt silver from 112 to 126 feet.
The holes have targeted and intersected the D-block south zone. The Historical mineral rock of Drumlummon mine cuts less than 0.4 opt gold on an average and is used to back fill the large mined out stopes that is called Gob Backfill. Now, this is easily available and potentially economic.
Drilling at the D- Block South Pillar has struck extensive and high-grade gold and silver intervals. This pillar will be able to mine and add ounces to the resource, because of its closeness to the internal slope.
At present, RX Exploration delineates the remaining mineralized zones in areas of Castletown vein where Drumlummon vein has been identified. The preceding operators announce existence of 160,000 tons of mineralized material in “D” Block that returns 0.4 oz/ton gold and 4.0 oz/ton silver.
RX Exploration tests the D-Block, D-Block South, Xmas, Charly, and Empire vein systems. Now, two electric-hydraulic rigs are drilling several targets at drill stations #9 and #12. The company will update NI-43-101 resource estimate through its ongoing drilling program.
