Sulliden Gold has announced new drilling results from Shahuindo Gold and Silver Project in northern Peru. The drilling results maintain the growth and stability of the currently defined mineral system along 3.8 kilometers that remains open in all directions.
Sulliden intersects 6.79 g/t gold over 3.0 meters and 6.07 g/t gold over 4.9 meters in hole SH10-153 at west zone. It cuts 2.06 g/t gold over 26.6 meters and 2.06 g/t gold over 26.6 meters at hole SH10-154 in the central zone.
The company also intersects 176.6 g/t silver over 4.9 meters at hole SH10-153 in west zone and 104.1 g/t silver over 12.0 meters at hole SH10-167 in west zone and 158.3 g/t silver over 9.2 meters at hole SH10-172 in the central zone.
The proposed 70,000 meter exploration program for 2011 is in progress. At present, Sulliden has six drills working at the Shahuindo property. Drilling all along Central Corridor is underway to extend mineralization and focus on other 2011 exploration targets. These targets comprises f North-West and South-East extensions that signify 60% increase to the Central Corridor, deep-drilling to analyze sulphide mineralization and drilling at North and South Corridors.
The new drilling results widen the presence of the ore body beyond the current mineralized envelope and gives better understanding about the structural context of the deposit. This enhanced geological understanding will possibly aid to make out drilling targets in the Central Corridor.
