ECU Silver Mining has identified a new high-grade mineralization in Terneras West Mine during the development along the vein structure. The Terneras West Mine is situated on Velardena Property.
Additionally, the vein has been opened for 89 meters and cut 3.45 g/t gold, 440 g/t silver, 4.90% lead and 2.48% zinc over 0.37 meters. The most excellent segment is the final 15 meters that intersects 7.34 g/t gold, 2060 g/t silver, 18.15% lead and 3.67% Zinc over 0.25 meters, including 7.54 g/t gold, 5541 g/t silver, 37.3% lead and 1.8% Zinc over 0.25 meters.
Moreover, Buenaventura Vein has been divided transversely in this new development drift. This Buenaventura vein is located among several known veins in the western portion of Velardena Property in order to analyze and include in the Company's mineral resources.
The positive grade and extension of the resource veins helps the company to continuously develop the whole western area of Velardena Property. Approximately, 50% of Velardena Property has been drilled and now holds around 37 million ounces of silver equivalent (AgEq) measured and indicated resources and just about 241 million ounces of AgEq inferred resources.
