Forte Energy Releases Additional Assay Results from A238 Uranium Prospect, Mauritania

Forte Energy, an international uranium company, has reported the assay results of the final two holes from the 7000m reverse circulation (RC) drilling and the first four hole results from the 1500m diamond drilling at the A238 uranium prospect in northern Mauritania.

The company intersects 271ppm Uranium over 9m and 300ppm Uranium over 6m in the two RC holes and cuts 347ppm Uranium over 12m, 457ppm Uranium over 24m, 381m Uranium over 20m, 317ppm Uranium over 9m in the first four drill holes drilled at the A238 prospect.

The company is still on track to compute an initial maiden inferred JORC compliant resource estimate for A238 prospect in the second quarter of 2011 with the received RC drilling results of the finished 700m drill results and 1500m diamond drill results, which is now close to completion.

Recently, Forte Energy has finished about 1200m RC wide drilling program at the A238 prospect wherein the high-grade main zone was found formerly. The company has planned this drilling program in such a way as to increase the resource potential.

Now, the Company has begun the next drilling phase in Mauritania, which will include an additional 7000m RC drilling at its other high priority local targets along with a further 1300m RC drilling program at the A238 main shoot. Forte anticipates completing the present drilling program by the end of the second quarter of 2011.
