Calibre Mining Reports Initial Drill Hole Results from Riscos De Oro Property

Calibre Mining has reported the first hole results of the 2011 drill program from its Riscos de Oro property. The company has encountered three gold and silver mineralized zones in hole RD11-010.

The intersection highlight is 10.25 g/t gold and 288.25 g/t silver over 5.4 metres in the lowest zone. The lined sulphosalts distinguish the mineralization present in the quartz layer breccias and low sulphidation epithermal banded quartz layers.

Calibre has performed the second drill program at Riscos de Oro and persists in confirming and extending high-grade gold and silver low mineralization well under the past open pit and subversive workings. RD11-010, which is drilled in the locality of the historical drill hole RIS-9 cuts 12.89 g/t gold and 13.23 g/t silver over 7.5m. Also, the hole has stepped out around 50m from RD10-001 that intersects 2.44 g/t gold and 292.60 g/t silver over 5.8m. Several horizons exist in Riscos de Oro gold-silver deposit. The extension of these analogous zones, which is instantly under the mine and beside the strike of the deposit, will be analyzed with successive drilling.

ALS Chemex labs in North Vancouver, BC will test the samples for gold fire assay and ICP multi element analysis.
