Cadan Resources has completed resource definition drilling at its Tagpura porphyry skarn, which is present on the Comval property in East Mindanao, Philippines.
The company is performing the drilling program in the zone where 10 to 15 million potential tonnes were found earlier. Cadan has finished the drilling along with the former drilling and open pit bench sampling and it gives the information of adequate mass to permit the advancement of the prospective tonnage compared to the measured resource.
The Comval property is constantly providing positive exploration results. The location of Tagpura porphyry skarn is on the east part of the property, which has turned into a new attraction on receiving continuous gold and copper assays. The company has planned to increase the drilling at Tagpura porphyry and a follow up with exploration at Comval.
Cadan uses the LY 24 drill rig to drill the first diamond hole, TGD 108 to 139.10m and surface core. The company drills TGD 109, the second hole to 148.80m, which was also cored from the surface. Cadan has received the proprietary initial XRF assay results for TGD 108 where the described mineral zone encounters 0.65% copper over 0 to 106m. The high-grade magnetite skarn has been intercepted from 33m to 64m and cuts 1.21% copper over 31m.
