Balmoral Resources Begins Geophysical Program at Detour East Property

Balmoral Resources has begun a ground-based geophysical program at its Detour East property in west-central Quebec.

This property includes a 20 kilometre long extension of the Detour/Sunday Lake deformation zone that possesses the major developing gold deposit of Abitibi, the Detour gold deposit on the contiguous property in Ontario. Martiniere west high-grade gold zone of Balmoral is situated 25 kilometres east of the Detour East property besides the similar Detour gold trend.

The company will conduct an Induced Polarization program, which will cover a 9.25 kilometre extensive stretch of the Detour/Sunday Lake deformation zone that is broadening eastward from the boundary of Ontario and Quebec. The ongoing geophysical program will enhance the present airborne and ground geophysical exposure and support to choose the drill targets, which is planned for the summer/fall drill campaign at Detour East. The company has signed an option agreement with Radisson Mining Resources to earn up to 60% working interest in the Detour East property.
