Richfield Ventures has announced the drilling results for the six holes from a 30,000 metre drill program to develop and outline the resource at the Blackwater gold project. This gold project is around 100 km to south of Vanderhoof in BC.
The company has collared six vertical holes on the south of the Blackwater deposit. It has drilled four holes that are 50m apart on line 5,892,700N and show an additional 200 metres of continuous gold mineralization. Richfield has drilled a hole, BW 131, which is 100 metres east of BW 129 and 150 metres east of BW 127. The hole, BW 129 has cut 1.89 g/t gold over 124 metres, and the hole, BW 127 has intersected 8.91 g/t gold over 25.71 metres. The company has drilled BW 133 hole to 112 metres west-southwest of BW 132, which has cut plagioclase porphyritic dacite to andesite.
The four drill holes and the western hole have added to the gold resource at the Blackwater project. At present, the operations are focused on drilling to set up continuity and size on the property’s north side. Richfield is the JV operator of the property and holds 75% interest.
