The company has confirmed the gas occurrence in numerous intervals from a depth of 1489 to 1515 m, due to the presence of mud logs during drilling.
Now, the third party contractors are estimating the cores and electric logs found during the drilling to permit complete evaluation of the discovery’s size.
The company has received positive results from the initial well log analysis and has discovered gas bearing interval, which is 8 m in length. This ZJS-03 well was the initial well in the 2011 proposed three well drilling program and also, it was the first well in the upthrown, larger area of the Zijinshan Asset.
