Augen Gold has continued to cut high-grade gold in its North Shore Trend that is northeast of the former Jerome Gold Mine. This North Shore Trend is situated centrally in Augen's South Swayze project that is between the mining centers of Timmins and Sudbury in Ontario.
The Company has cut 10.60 g/t gold over 10.50 metres and continues to outline the recently identified auriferous zone in the SGH gold anomaly at the North coast of Opeepeesway Lake. It also intersected 66.80 g/t gold over 1.50 metres, which is the most excellent of the numerous high-grade gold found so far along the trend. Five new drill holes out of eleven have cut high-grade gold.
Drilling by Augen Gold has analyzed numerous Soil Gas Hydrocarbon (SGH) gold anomalies and significant gold showings. Augen Gold has intersected 66.80 g/t gold over 1.50 metres in NS11-109, 23.20 g/t gold over 1.12 metres in NS11-116.
Also, it has previously intersected 22.30 g/t gold over 0.37 metres in NS10-89 6.72 g/t gold over 11.19 metres in NS11-111, 26.30 g/t gold over 0.70 metres in NS10-96 along the North Shore Trend.
This recently identified auriferous trend at the North Shore has a strike over 1,600 metres in the west-northwest. The location of this trend is near the feldspar porphyry interruptions and outcrops westerly to a wide airborne magnetic low.
SGH geochemistry identifies hydrocarbon-based compounds along with a hidden gold deposit. ALS Laboratory Group will assay the gold in drill core samples.
