Yorbeau Resources is continuing the 2011 drilling campaign using two drill rigs and it is primarily focusing on the Augmitto mine.
The purpose of the ongoing drilling is to execute the definition and in-fill drilling, which will support the NI 43-101 complaint resource estimate preparation for the Augmitto deposit. The company has planned to complete the resource estimate during June.
The company is now drilling at the eastern section of the Augmitto deposit that expands to western section of the Cinderella Block. The Augmitto deposit is shown to be consistent, based on the structural data re-interpretation. Several historic drill holes at the Augmitto has not gone deep through the targeted mineralized zones entirely, as a result only limited number of holes analyzed the historical key target at the lower Piché Group. Yorbeau has finished the five drill holes and received the assay results for the same. These assay results confirm that the surrounding areas of the Augmitto deposit has gold mineralization in numerous spheres, while the Footwall Zone and the Piché Group stay as the main targets of the company.
AGAT Laboratories, ALS Chemex and Actlabs have tested the samples. Yorbeau has planned to execute definition and in-fill drilling at its Cinderella East and Lake Gamble discoveries. Drilling will be continued by further resource estimates, thus enhancing the NI 43-101 compliant resources of the company in four identified gold deposits in the Augmitto-Astoria corridor.
