Arcus Development Group to Commence Diamond Drilling at Dawson Gold Project

Arcus Development Group has mobilized the crews to the Dawson Gold project. The company has started the in-fill auger soil sampling and is expected to begin diamond drilling soon.

The preliminary work program will drill test many concurrent geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the Dan Man and Touleary properties. The completion of a number of drill holes at every site will depend on the drilling results, however it is anticipated that the phase I drilling will contain up to six holes at the Dan Man and Touleary properties.

The company will execute spur auger and ridge crest soil sampling over several priority targets on the claims of Arcus. It will also finish the comprehensive in-fill auger soil sampling on the current geophysical and soil geochemical anomalies at the Dan Man and Touleary properties.

The budget of this preliminary 2011 work campaign is estimated as $1,100,000 and will finish the work in early July. All the samples from the in-fill soil grids and first drill holes will be tested on an expedited basis. Depending upon the primary drilling and soil sampling results, the company will begin the phase II drilling in early August.
