Nevada Copper has announced additional encouraging results from the ongoing 20,000 m expansion and step-out drilling program at the Pumpkin Hollow property in Nevada.
The company has drilled the hole NC11-03 to extend the deep mineralization in the North Deposit and has authenticated the mineralization continuity, which cut 0.164 g gold, 4.2 g silver, 0.017% molybdenum and 1.08% copper over 97.5 m in an upper zone and 1.2 g silver, 0.73% copper, 0.048 g gold over 239 m in a lower zone.
Nevada Copper drilled the hole NC11-04 and geotechnical hole NC11-GT03 in the East deposit. It drilled the hole NC11-04 along the north border of the deposit and hole NC11-GT03 to gather the geotechnical information for the East shaft and is more than 90 m east of the identified mineralization and has cut two thinner mineralized zones. The discovered zones will not influence the shaft location but show the strength and continuity of the mineralizing system.
Gregory French, Vice President of the company, has stated that the company continues to extend and confirm the mineralization in the north deposit and cut the lower and the upper mineralized zones. The company has intersected totaling 0.73% to 1.08% copper over 1,100 ft at both the two zone. The drill hole NC11-03 has showed the regions in the deposit containing high-grade molybdenum. It has also planned to drill additionally based on the encouraging results.
