Highpointe Exploration Announces Drilling at Tasco Property

Highpointe Exploration has planned to continue the suggested exploration at its Tasco property.

This property is situated in the Taseko River region of British Columbia. The company has contracted Discovery Consultants of Vernon, B.C. for providing services to deal with the exploration and overseeing the drilling program. The company has submitted its exploration permits and has posted the necessary bond and is waiting for the approval from the British Columbian Government.

The planned drilling program will examine the zone, which formerly cut 0.023% molybdenum and 0.28% copper over 288.6 m in the hole DDH 81-2 and intersected 0.007% molybdenum and 0.23% copper over 100.6 m in the hole DDH A-1. This historical drilling along with the 2010 ZTEM airborne geophysical survey results has proposed that the property has encouraging prospects for porphyry copper type mineralization.

The CEO and President of the company, has stated that this property has analogous characteristics to additional porphyry deposits and these deposits are situated in the same common area that includes the Taseko Mines’ Prosperity deposit.
