Tintina Resources has announced the assay results of additional 11 drill holes from the drilling program at its Sheep Creek Copper-Cobalt-Silver property in Central Montana, USA.
The company has intersected 2.38% copper, 0.32% cobalt and 21.9 g/t silver over 9.34 m in hole SC11-039, 2.45% copper, 0.06% cobalt and 14.7 g/t silver over 6.80 m in hole SC11-041, 1.51% copper, 0.12% cobalt, and 24.0 g/t silver over 11.99 m in hole SC11-043 and 2.06% copper, 0.13% cobalt, and 20.6 g/t silver over 6.30 m in hole SC11-044 at the upper copper zone of Strawberry Butte.
Presently, Tintina has two drill rigs, which has completed expansion and in-fill drilling at the upper copper zone (UCZ) enormous sulfide of the Strawberry Butte area. The company has additionally completed 25 drill holes and is waiting for the assay results. It has planned for additional six holes to further in-fill and develop the UCZ resource. The drilling program results will be employed to advance the UCZ resource to the Indicated and Measured category. In addition, these results will authenticate the continuity of high-grade copper all through the UCZ and continue to extend the deposit’s identified margins.
At present, the UCZ has an Inferred Resource that includes 7 MMT with 2.4% copper, 0.12% cobalt and 12.3 g/t silver. Tintina has started a Preliminary Economic Assessment on the UCZ to decide the project economics and is gathering environmental baseline data to prepare a project permitting and environmental assessment report.
Moreover, the company is preparing a preliminary Inferred Resource estimate for the lower copper zone (LCZ) massive sulfide at the Strawberry Butte and has commenced resource definition drilling at LCZ, where the copper mineralization is connected with several mineralized horizons.
