Uranium North Resources to Start Exploration at Robin, Nowyak and F13 Projects

Uranium North Resource is planning for the 2011 drilling and exploration programs at Robin, Nowyak and F13 projects in Nunavut.

The company has planned to conduct a geophysical survey and prospecting at Nowyak and will perform a drilling program in August. It has also proposed to execute comprehensive geophysics and prospecting program to outline the targets at the Robin and F13 projects for future drilling.

These projects have received a water license and land use permits. The company has brought geophysical and geological crews and the Nowyak program has received a drill. It is expecting to commence the ground survey at all the three properties in early July. The focus of geophysical prospecting survey at Nowyak is on high-grade gold, silver and copper, which is reported along a 6 km structure at four sites. This drill program has been scheduled to examine the most potential areas. The company has assayed 4.2% copper, 32.9 g/t gold and 1350 g/t silver at the Nowyak project and 1420 g/t silver and 117 g/t gold historically.

This work update presented is a part of the larger exploration campaign by Uranium North, which is presently drilling at the Amer Lake uranium deposit and will commence drilling at the Mallery gold project at the earliest.
