Match Capital Resources (Match) has completed the summer drilling program at the Indian Lake property. The company has drilled a total of 1,173 m, totaling nine holes. It is expecting to receive the initial drilling results prior to the end of July.
The company has discovered two types of mineralization at the Indian Lake property in the sedimentary intrusive and volcanic units of the Labrador Trough. Sulphide iron structure hosting mineralization of silver, lead, gold, copper and zinc and gabbro hosted platinum-copper-nickel group elements mineralization are the two kinds of mineralization.
This Indian Lake property was identified at the commencement of the 2010 field season. The location of the property is around 60 km east of Schefferville in Quebec and contains three claim groups, specifically Indian Lake East, Indian Lake West and Indian Lake North.
Match Capital and Western Troy Capital Resources have signed an option or joint venture agreement in July, 2010. Under this agreement, by spending $250,000 for a period of two years Match can earn up to a 50% interest in the Indian Lake property.
