Condor Resources Announces New Precious Metals Discovery in Peru

Condor Resources has identified and acquired a new precious metals occurrence through the current generative regional exploration program in northern Peru in a similar productive volcanic belt, which includes Pierina and Alto Chicama gold mines of Barrick Gold.

Condor's new Quriurqu project is situated 45 km to the southern part of the Peirina mine in the Cordillera Negra metallogenic province, central Peruvian Andes. This project is a high sulphidation gold-silver epithermal system, which is confirmed by the alteration assemblages  and connected pathfinder minerals present in the hydrothermal breccias and structures in the Tertiary age dacitic ignimbrites.

The prospecting team of Condor is conducting the first reconnaissance mapping and ALS Chemex lab in Lima, Peru has assayed the collected 64 rock chip channel samples. The company has encountered 5.9 g/t gold and 143 g/t silver. It has examined a total of 57 samples out of the 64 and yielded anomalous gold values more than 50 ppb, which contains 18 samples beyond 1 g/t gold and 27 samples > 500 ppb. Condor has planned  a comprehensive sampling and mapping for over 3 km2 of the property. The geologists at the company consider that Quriurqu project might possess a distributed bulk tonnage of gold-silver deposit at depth. This project has not been subjected to former sampling or any exploration program and is also not drill tested.
