Breitling Oil and Gas, an Irving-based self-governing exploration and production firm in Texas, has spudded the Breitling-Buffalo Run #1H in Hemphill County.
This 15,900 ft Breitling-Buffalo Run #1H is a TMD well and is situated in the Buffalo Wallow field, which is productive, in the Texas Panhandle. The target of this Breitling-Buffalo Run #1H well is on the Granite Wash segments from A through G.
The management of the company is expecting to drill the well to a total depth in 37 days approximately. The completion and testing of the well should commence during the first week of September. Devon Energy is the operator of this well.
The company has refused to unveil the potential reserve or any additional features concerning with the prospect to the public.
The CEO of the company has commented that Breitling is likely to participate with Devon Energy for the Buffalo Run well. The wells that are vertical in the Buffalo Wallow field have been huge producers and the company is planning to step out and drill a horizontal well.
