Glass Earth Gold has pronounced the significant surface channel sampling results from the Muirs gold prospect in New Zealand.
The CEO and President of the company, has stated that the results authenticated Muirs prospect’s potential and offered another work platform for developing the potential and. That the company will be ongoing with stable groundwork and plan for a new drilling program to deepen this positive ground.
The location of this Muirs gold prospect is 65 km southeast of the Martha mine, which is at Hauraki Goldfield’s southern end. Till 1930, two quartz reefs were excavated in this epithermal system, with more than 43,000 oz gold mined from underground workings and shallow surface.
The recent exploration of the company is focusing on the surface channel sampling, in order to develop and extend the discovered mineralization zone of the prospect. It has identified major quartz veins, which displays several gold deposition phases across more than 450 m of the southwest extension of the prospect.
The CEO has said that there is significant potential in the western and southern areas and the company is encouraged by the former drilling, geophysics and petrology work. It has encountered positive signs of reliable alteration and high-grade potential at the surface.
Currently, Glass Earth Gold is initiating an additional drilling program, to confirm the discovered mineralization and to prepare an NI 43-101 compliant resource.
