Ur-Energy Begins Drilling Program at Lost Creek Project

Ur-Energy has commenced the 2011 drilling campaign at the Lost Creek project and is continuing its exploration efforts at the Lost Creek north property.

The company arrived with four drilling rigs to the field in July, 2011 for installation of the wells and to perform the exploration drilling program.

As the project permitting is about to be completed, Ur-Energy will install numerous wells that will be used to perform hydrology testing at the KM horizon and this is in groundwork of an upcoming license or permit amendment in order to enclose the KM horizon as an accepted mining structure. The focus of the remaining of the 2011 drilling campaign will be on uranium exploration in a formerly undrilled project area and in the contiguous Lost Creek north property.

The VP of Regulatory Affairs of the company has commented that the drilling continued at the Lost Creek project and its nearby properties has confirmed the continued obligation of the company to additionally develop its resources. The location of Ur-Energy in the Great Divide basin is enhanced continually by the current exploration and drilling programs.
