Zone Resources Completes Airborne Survey at Labrador Trough

Zone Resources is in the trade of purchasing and assessing oil, natural gas and other mineral properties for exploration and expansion.

Zone Resources has completed a horizontal gradiometer and high-resolution aeromagnetic survey of the whole land package of Labrador Trough. The company has flown a 3,612 line kilometres in total, with 250 m line spacing. Ontario-based Terraquest of Markham has conducted the survey.

This airborne survey was successful in defining the areas that have maximum potential for economic iron mineralization zones. The company integrates past data, which contains drilling and assay results, with the geophysical information to improve the geological model to extend the current iron mineralization zones and identify latest zones.

The company is progressing in the logistical preparation to start the diamond drilling and ground exploration at the earliest.

Zone and the Inuit of Nunavik have commenced a current consultation method. It will service out the work activities of the Kuujjuaq community, wherein the company will endeavor to exploit the use of local employment and local businesses.

The company has optioned 41,500 ha, totaling four iron properties at the Labrador Trough in northern Quebec. The drilling program has defined several iron mineralization zones during 1950.
