Bolero Resources is advancing the work campaign at the White Gold prospect. This prospect is situated in Yukon’s White Gold District or Stewart River region that is nearby to the newly proclaimed discoveries by Kinross Gold and Kaminak Gold.
The company has mobilized the field crews and has started prospecting, sampling and mapping to additionally outline the major multi-element soil anomaly that was identified during the sampling program in 2010. Anomaly’s southeast end includes the main continuous gold values at the property and extends for many kilometres towards the northwest, where the scattered samples return high gold values. High values of Arsenic, Antimony and Molybdenum are associated with the gold at anomaly’s east end.
The White Gold prospect of Bolero includes 12 quartz claims, which enclose more than 6,500 acres, in two individual claim blocks. These claims occur under the Nasina Assemblage’s chlorite-muscovite and quartz-muscovite schist, hosting the deposits at Kinross Gold's property, which gives a striking exploration target.
The CEO and President of Bolero Resources, has commented that this detailed work campaign will assist to additionally outline the considerable multi-element soil anomaly, found at the Nicolas claim during the 2010 work program in Yukon. The company expects an active 2011 work period and drilling is currently ongoing at the Red Chris South prospect, which is adjacent to the Red Chris copper-gold discovery of Imperial Metals. It has also planned to start drilling soon at the Charge REE prospect and the Carbonatite Syndicate REE prospect, after the airborne survey completion, which is being currently done.
