Argus Metals is continuing the diamond drilling at the Hyland gold project, which is situated in the Selwyn Basin, Yukon. The company is currently drilling three holes on the SE zone for assaying. The budget allotted for this drilling is $CDN 1.7 million.
The President of Argus Metals has stated that the company is delighted with the advancement at the Hyland project, like the latest structural model, vigilant exploration on significant anomalies and new target development. The company is certain that it has the tools to deal with the complete potential of the strike length of 24 km of the Quartz Lake fault and the TINA and IKE project.
The company is conducting the current drilling and is examining the latest structural analysis of Main Zone’s mineralization, a recent conductor discovered in the Abitibi TEM geophysical survey during this summer. The current focus of the drilling is on the South-East zone soil anomaly target. After completing the phase I drilling program at the SE Zone, the drill rig will be mobilized to analyze the recently discovered THAS Zone. This season’s additional drilling contains the newly found CUZ SUR targets and the latest historic CUZ zone.
Yukon’s regional program continues to progress but the assay results were not received along with more than 185 sediment samples and 1800 soil samples gathered so far. XRF technology is employed to progress the definition of stream and soil anomalies for the quick development of the following targets. The company conducted an infill sampling program in the midseason to outline possible drill campaigns for the early fall.
