Driven Capital Starts Shallow Drilling Program at Lyn Silver Project

Driven Capital has obtained the initial analytical results from its trenching and sampling program at the Lyn Silver project, which is located in Yukon’s Whitehorse Mining district. Additionally, the company has also started a shallow drilling campaign.

ALS Canada has tested the submitted initial 100 samples and returned up to 2,770 g/t silver and 25.3% zinc.

ALS has certified some other samples and assayed more than 10,000 g/t silver and 30.0% lead. Driven has ordered ALS to run these samples again in the form of ore grade and employ concentrate-titration techniques to calculate and report for high-grade silver and lead.

The company is waiting for the assay results from the remaining 157 rock samples collected totally in the mineralized zones from the 13 latest trenches, old trenches and at surface, which are mined and reclaimed by Aurora Geosciences during June and July.

Also, Driven has pronounced the beginning of the 500 to 1,000 m shallow drill campaign in the previous high-grade zones of the project. It has planned to drill ten holes, totaling the depth of around 25 m to 100m, by employing a Winkie drill rig. The program is scheduled to examine along the strike and down dip of the veins that are revealed at the surface to find out the morphology, attitude and controls over the mineralization. The company has planned to send drill cores to ALS's lab in North Vancouver with an aim to accelerate assays.

Aurora is concluding a Class 3 Permit application for additional exploration works including an expected 2,500 m conventional diamond-drill campaign in the previous high-grade silver region and some outer mineralized zones.
