NMC Resource has released the excellent assay results of the drilling program at the main zone, which is between the levels 257 m and 217 m in the NMC Moland Mine, South Korea.
The company has completed 36 drill holes, which signifies 2,516 m, in the Main zone expansion and advances to drill further holes to outline the down dip expansions of the main molybdenum mineralized zone. It has encountered high-grade assays from 10 holes that represent 745 m enclosing the deposit’s west part of the Main zone expansion.
The company is expecting the remaining results from 26 holes, totaling 1,771 m in the upcoming weeks. In addition, the Main zone expansion has some inadequate previous samples and drill information.
These assay results assist the occurrence of the excellent molybdenum mineralization beneath the 257 m level. A technical report from NMC Moland Mine, dated October 8, 2009, along with NI 43-101 compliance report covers the deposit over 257 m level. The company has planned to revise the resource estimate for including NMC Moland Mine’s downward extension.
NMC Moland Mine is producing commercially since April 2010 and continues to offer a constant revenue stream for the company. The location of the crushing chamber of NMC Moland Mine is underground, and 100% of the water is reused. This mine does not possess a tailings pond as all the tailings are utilized as material for making cement.
NMC has shipped the pulp to the North Vancouver-based ALS Chemex lab, where the sample was assimilated by four acid solutions and then examined by ICP analysis.
