Minsud Resources has announced the phase I drill campaign results from the Chita Valley Project in Argentina. This project is situated favorably in the El Indio mining district of Argentina and Chile.
The company has cut gold-rich epithermal layers in the drill hole PSu1101 and encountered 32.29 g/t gold and 36.10 g/t silver over 1.0 m, 11.33 g/t gold and 29.02 g/t silver over 3.0 m, 2.29 g/t gold and 265.83 g/t silver over 1.0 m and 1.30 g/t gold and 67.0 g/t silver over 6.0 m. It has also intersected an extensive molybdenum and copper interval in a potassic+sericite alteration zone with stockwork-style, which ceases because of a post-mineral breccia present at the drill hole’s bottom, and yielded 0.03% molybdenum and 0.23% copper over 98.0 m.
Additionally, a wide mineralized intercept is displayed in the drill hole PSU1101 that intersected 0.03% molybdenum and 0.13% copper over 283.0 m.
The Vice President of Minsud Resources has stated that the company has identified significant high-grade silver and gold in an epithermal layers set located in the Chita Porphyry project and the continuity of the molybdenum and copper mineralization in the porphyry, which neccessitates additional exploration work.
The CEO and President of the company, has stated that Minsud is expecting the completion of the phase I drill campaign at the gold target located at the Fatima vein, for re-outlining and assessing phase II drilling work.
